The 53 Best Cyber Monday Deals Under $50 (2021): Cheap Stuff We Love

Roku Streaming Stick 4K

Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Roku

Nearly every Roku device goes on sale around the holidays, but the Streaming Stick 4K is one of the most affordable options. Our Roku Buying Guide has in-depth information on the various models. Suffice it to say that this $30 stick should do the trick for most people. It doesn’t have hands-free controls the way more expensive versions do, but it works with the majority of streaming services and has an easy-to-use interface. An older version of the Streaming Stick Plus Headphones Edition is also discounted to $40 ($20 off).

Target, Amazon, Best Buy

This streaming stick goes on sale all the time, but $25 is about the lowest you’ll find outside of Prime Day. It’s a good option for people already firmly entrenched in the Amazon ecosystem. Watch a lot of Prime Video? Prefer Alexa to other voice assistants? This may be the best option.

Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Adorama

The Chromecast with Google TV (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is our top pick for cord cutters that prefer to stream via smartphone. It works with iOS and Android devices. The interface is easy to use and navigable, and Google Assistant adds voice searching functionality. We don’t love the limited storage, but there’s a way to manually clear the cache should performance turn sluggish.

Govee Flow Pro Light Bars

Govee makes some of WIRED’s Favorite Smart Bulbs, and these bars are no exception. They take backlighting to new heights. The LEDs will react to onscreen visuals or music, pulsing, cycling, or executing another action of your choice from the wide array of presets. This price is one of the best WIRED has tracked. We don’t love the fact that there’s a camera built into the product with no physical privacy cover, though workarounds are possible. Read more in the in-depth review.

While it is somewhat limited, and you need an Alexa-enabled device to set it up, this smart light offers a wide range of colors and modes, including fun options like Disco and Underwater. You can enable tap control to switch colors, and you can tweak everything and turn it off remotely from the Alexa app.

Amazon, Walmart

This is one of the best indoor security cameras. It’s especially good for pet owners. Aside from detection, the camera features pet commands, allowing you to play a prerecorded message to soothe (or train) pets from afar. The price is about as good as it gets. Note that Eufy experienced a security incident in May that exposed its users’ camera feeds, a problem it has since fixed. You can read more about it—and find some general safety tips—in our guide.

Amazon

We think this cold brew maker is the best of the bunch. The Primula Burke is easy to use and easy to clean. It also makes for a great gift. The discount may not seem too exciting, but this is the cheapest the product has been since February.

Subminimal

This is the best handheld milk frother. It makes it easy to achieve the perfect texture for lattes, cappuccinos, or fancy cocktails. It’s also much more affordable than an automated countertop machine, even before the Cyber Monday discount. That extra $10 off is icing on the cake pop.

Self-Care Deals

Colgate Hum

Amazon (Click the Coupon Button), Colgate ($49)

The Colgate Hum (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the Best Electric Toothbrush for most people. It’s small, it’s cute, and it has an app that’ll help track dental hygiene habits. The app is optional, but it does dole out rewards that can be used for things like additional brush heads. This is the rechargeable version; the battery-powered version is also discounted (though it dropped to $20 for Prime Day).

Target, Amazon, Best Buy

Another one of our favorite electric toothbrushes, this lightweight brush is a good hybrid for more powerful brushing than a manual without too many bells, whistles, or teeth-chattering modes. The battery-operated version is also on sale for $15 ($10 off).

Several WIRED staffers use this sunscreen every day. It provides a pearly glow without a white cast or too much shimmer, and it’s lightweight enough to layer seamlessly with other skincare products. The entire Kinship site is 20 percent off.

Headspace typically costs $13 per month, but for Cyber Week, it’s on sale for $5 a month. You can buy monthly memberships or get a year-long subscription for $35. It has guided meditations tailored to a variety of needs, from dealing with climate anxiety to getting better sleep. While meditation apps aren’t for everyone, we do have a guide on making the most of them.

This vibrator necklace is elegant and discreet enough to be worn as daily jewelry. Its vibrations are more buzzy than they are rumbly—think of it like a slender bullet. For more ideas, check out our roundup of the Best Sex Tech.

This discount shows up during checkout. Michelle Phan is the original YouTube beauty guru. Her company’s lip cushion is a hybrid of lipstick and lip balm. It hydrates without feeling sticky, and leaves behind a muted wash of color that looks good on everyone. All five shades are universally flattering. SmartWool Liner Gloves

Backcountry, Steep and Cheap ($11)

Liner gloves add warmth to existing gloves or mittens, but these can also work on their own for chilly days. They’re thin and won’t cause loss of dexterity, so they can be especially nice for tasks like yard work or DIY vehicle maintenance in colder temperatures.

Every camp kitchen needs a pot like this. It holds just under a liter of fluid, so it’ll work for making coffee, heating up cans, or making a quick meal. The drip spout makes for easy pouring, and the lightweight design makes for easy carrying.

Men’s Version, Women’s Version ($36)

This shirt will be featured in an upcoming WIRED guide. It doesn’t look like a hiking shirt, but don’t let the design fool you. The moisture-wicking fabric, ventilated core, and flip-up sun collar are all intended to help regulate body temperature. There are plenty of color options and sizes to choose from. We did see it drop lower, to $39, when the sale started.

Bokksu (Enter BF2021 at Checkout)

There are a lot of Japan-themed snack boxes on the market, but Bokksu’s is unusually specific. Each month centers on a different region, cuisine style, or cultural cornerstone. It’s a good way to expand your horizons if you’ve already tried a lot of Japanese snacks. Read more about it in our guide to the Best Snack Subscription Boxes.

This chili sauce goes well with everything, like eggs, pizza, ice cream, tuna salad, or regular salad. It’s just spicy enough to lend a kick without being overpowering. Fly by Jing was featured in our guide to the Best Gifts from BIPOC-Owned Businesses.

We were impressed by the older iteration of this smart dog collar. It uses Wi-Fi, cellular, and GPS networks to keep track of your pup’s whereabouts. If Fido ever goes missing, the Fi can help you find them. The battery lasts for up to three months at a time, and the collar also features a built-in light for nighttime walks. It can also count their steps, should you have a hankering for another fitness statistic.
